Good morning my Brothers and Sisters
Today's reflection

"He who believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me. And he who sees me sees him who sent me. I have come as light into the world, that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness."

When someone looks at you what exactly do they see? It is far to simple to say that they see me. What exactly is me? What are you if not a product of all that you have seen, felt, done, believe, and experience. When someone looks at you they see and know you as a story of your life. So then what is your story? Where you are at today, is your story complete? Is there more to do and learn. John the Baptist says "I must decrease so that he (Jesus) may increase. What greater expression can there be than to be a reflection of the love of the King of the Universe in our lives. Imagine if When someone looks upon you they see expressed in your life love for one another. Imagine if you were known for mercy and forgiveness. If when people speak of you they would say how kind and patient you are. Then you too would reflect God. You too would be as Jesus is to the Father. When people look upon you they like John the Baptist would see less of your wants but rather more of the Father's will, they would see God living through you.

This is a tall order, I know. Neither of us are done. There is so much of our story yet to be written. Make today the day you decide to decrease your will and allow the Father's will to increase in you through Jesus Christ. Do not be afraid. Seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened unto you. There are those who will help you become a new creation.

God bless you all and remember that God loves you and so do I. Memento Mori

Good morning my Brothers and Sisters
Today's reflection

But Mary stood weeping outside the tomb, and as she wept she stooped to look into the tomb; and she saw two angels in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had lain, one at the head and one at the feet. They said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?”

Mary of Magdala was the first to arrive at the tomb early in the morning. She found it empty and an angel spoke to her. Her faith was tested in that moment. Her eyes caused confusion but her heart remained full of hope.

When we are faced with great difficulties and our eyes tell us we are facing doom, do we crumble or do we cling onto our faith? The world will always be limited in what it can offer. The world is not oriented towards life but death. Only through faith in Christ Jesus will every tear be wiped away and every heart be comforted.

Do not despair in times of sorrow. We are Easter people. We place all of our trust and hope in the resurrection. Do not be afraid.

God bless ...

Today's reflection

Then one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said, “What will you give me if I deliver him to you?” And they paid him thirty pieces of silver. And from that moment he sought an opportunity to betray him.

There is a profound difference between working for what is desired for yourself and your own ambitions and working for that which will lift up all people. Of course you first must identify that which is truly good. This isn't all that simple because much of the current world fails to recognize the reality of objective truth.

Knowing the reality of objective truth and deliberately pursuing it will cause all to challenge individual selfishness. You will need to look inward and ask why do I want this. Judas wanted a revolutionary conflict and believed that pushing Jesus through his arrest would bring that out. This was not the method of Jesus but as with each of us he used the arrest to bring ...

Good morning my Brothers and Sisters
Today's reflection

Will you lay down your life for me? Truly, truly, I say to you, the cock will not crow, till you have denied me three times.

It is all so easy to support someone when Good times are around. It is easy to stand by a friend when it is popular to do so. It may even easy to fight for someone when there is no real personal cost and your hardship is rewarded. Will your principles remain when the world turns against you? Will you abandon your values when you are alone and you have no one to shelter behind. Do you live by what you say or are your words meaningless? Sadly, so much of the world today has little use for principles and values. The temptation to go along with the crowd is strong. This path will surely lead to ruin.

As Jesus was being accused and interrogated, Peter denied him 3 times although he swore that he would die for Jesus. Is there anything you would sacrifice for? Will you remain in the light of truth while the darkness bears ...
