Today's reflection
In Christ we have redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of His grace that He lavished on us.
Stop moving and settle yourself down. Quiet your mind and free your thoughts. Now place yourself in contemplation of a much bigger picture. You busy yourself so much each day and yet feel as though nothing gets accomplished. So much to do and yet never enough hours in the day to do them. OK, many of us experience this, so now what?
It's time to consider that perhaps you should reexamine your goals, your finish line. What are you working towards? Where is the finish line? In this world every victory is met with another obstacle. In this world every gain is threatened by those who desire to steel it away. Riches, power, influence, prestige are all temporary and vain. All will end this life and enter the next with empty hands.
Seek the Kingdom of God first. Desire that which comes from above. Make straight the path to your heart so that you may receive what is imperishable. Your salvation, your eternal life with Jesus is all that matters. Everything we do and aspire is in His service and is meant to be a reflection of His love manifested in this world through you.
You are His champion. All the graces you need in this life to be successful are yours if you but be open and receive. Your calling is to be a light in the darkness, a Christ Crusader. Do not be afraid.

"Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:15-20
Gathering in Christ's name is submitting to his will. We don't invoke the name of God for selfish purposes, this is taking the Lord’s name in vain. What do you really want? Do you truly want more stuff or is it peace. The peace that comes from knowing and living in harmony with the God of the Universe.
Ask for wisdom, courage, humility, love and it will be given to you. These and other virtues are freely offered knowing that they will bring you closer in relationship with Jesus.
Gather and be yoked with believers. Bind yourself to the truth. Seek the Kingdom of God first. This is the path to eternal life and the adventure of today. Do not be afraid.

"Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 18:1-5, 10, 12-14
Trusting is not something easily done. Especially for men who seek control or women who have been abused. Today's society has many who struggle with depression and anxiety because in part there is a feeling of hopelessness and fear that the weight of the world is carried by them alone.
When we enter into relationship with Jesus we receive a promise that never fails. A promise that is eternal coming from the source of all love and goodness.
Today is the day to let go of your fear and trust in the Father's plan for your life. Run towards Jesus and never leave his side. Allow the Blessed Mother to comfort you In her embrace. Learn from the Saints who walked this same pilgrimage in life and faced all the fears and doubts...
