Good morning my Brothers and Sisters
Today's reflection
Do not spend the rest of your earthly life on human desires but on the Will of God
Of all the self help books and programs out there, how many can you think of that will make a difference for eternity? We are inundated with the pursuit of worldly pleasure and prosperity. Sadly we are told even by some in religious circles that God wants us to be wealthy. There is a real problem with the idea of the prosperity gospel teachings. In truth your successes in life have nothing to do with your bank account. What you have and what you pursue could be a trap and lead you away from Jesus.
We are servants of God first. We must learn and accept our place in in the Father's House. We must recognize our individual part to play in building up the Kingdom of God. None of that has to do with being rich and wealthy. Jesus was poor in the view of the world. Whatever you possess is to be used to bring others into relationship with Jesus. We are stewards of what we possess. It doesn't matter what car you drive as long as you arrive on time and safely. Consider the treasures you surround yourself with. You leave all of it at the grave.
Desire God not the world. Desire love not the flesh. Live in the world but not be of the world. You are passing through so quickly and at the end of this life you will give an account for this life. Jesus will ask, when I was thirsty, naked, hungry, sick, imprisoned, or a stranger did you love and care for me? There is nothing pertaining to how much wealth you accumulated. Your successes will be measured by the life you lived in service and love of others especially the least among us. This is the Will of the Father. This is the Will of our Lord Jesus, that you love one another as Jesus loves you. Do not be afraid.
God bless you all and remember that God loves you and so do I
"Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:15-20
Gathering in Christ's name is submitting to his will. We don't invoke the name of God for selfish purposes, this is taking the Lord’s name in vain. What do you really want? Do you truly want more stuff or is it peace. The peace that comes from knowing and living in harmony with the God of the Universe.
Ask for wisdom, courage, humility, love and it will be given to you. These and other virtues are freely offered knowing that they will bring you closer in relationship with Jesus.
Gather and be yoked with believers. Bind yourself to the truth. Seek the Kingdom of God first. This is the path to eternal life and the adventure of today. Do not be afraid.
God bless you all and remember that God loves you and so do I. Memento Mori

Good morning my Brothers and Sisters. Today's reflection
"Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 18:1-5, 10, 12-14
Trusting is not something easily done. Especially for men who seek control or women who have been abused. Today's society has many who struggle with depression and anxiety because in part there is a feeling of hopelessness and fear that the weight of the world is carried by them alone.
When we enter into relationship with Jesus we receive a promise that never fails. A promise that is eternal coming from the source of all love and goodness.
Today is the day to let go of your fear and trust in the Father's plan for your life. Run towards Jesus and never leave his side. Allow the Blessed Mother to comfort you In her embrace. Learn from the Saints who walked this same pilgrimage in life and faced all the fears and doubts...
