Good morning my Brothers and Sisters
Today's reflection

What I say to you I say to all; keep awake.

On this last day of 2022 do we reflect on how much we have grown in faith and relationship with God? We should. Do we resolve to learn more and grow deeper in our understanding of eternal life and death? We should. We all have an unescapable destination. We will all die one day. The Latin expression Momento Mori translates into Remember Death. You will die and you do not know when that will be. Is this something to fear or avoid talking about; I don't think so. Rather it is something to prepare for and understand all that is within our control. We will all die but our attitude and relationship with God who is the final arbitrator of eternity can grow in such a way that fear in this life is removed. Be not afraid because you know Jesus and you have a profound relationship with Him. Yes there will be people and influences seeking to destroy that peace but have hope and rest in the knowledge that you are loved so much that even the hairs on your head are numbered.

Keep awake and never allow the Devil to sway you from the truth that even before you were born God knew you. He knit you together in your mother's womb. Let the comming year be one dedicated to your continued growth in relationship with Jesus and the understanding of this life and the life to come. Blessed New Year 2023.

God bless you all and remember that God loves you and so do I

Good morning my Brothers and Sisters. Today's reflection

"Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:15-20

Gathering in Christ's name is submitting to his will. We don't invoke the name of God for selfish purposes, this is taking the Lord’s name in vain. What do you really want? Do you truly want more stuff or is it peace. The peace that comes from knowing and living in harmony with the God of the Universe.

Ask for wisdom, courage, humility, love and it will be given to you. These and other virtues are freely offered knowing that they will bring you closer in relationship with Jesus.

Gather and be yoked with believers. Bind yourself to the truth. Seek the Kingdom of God first. This is the path to eternal life and the adventure of today. Do not be afraid.

God bless you all and remember that God loves you and so do I. Memento Mori

Good morning my Brothers and Sisters. Today's reflection

"Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 18:1-5, 10, 12-14

Trusting is not something easily done. Especially for men who seek control or women who have been abused. Today's society has many who struggle with depression and anxiety because in part there is a feeling of hopelessness and fear that the weight of the world is carried by them alone.

When we enter into relationship with Jesus we receive a promise that never fails. A promise that is eternal coming from the source of all love and goodness.

Today is the day to let go of your fear and trust in the Father's plan for your life. Run towards Jesus and never leave his side. Allow the Blessed Mother to comfort you In her embrace. Learn from the Saints who walked this same pilgrimage in life and faced all the fears and doubts...
